Amboseli National park is located on the North West direction of Mount Kilimanjaro on the border of Kenya and Tanzania and is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and the open plains of Amboseli. This is one of the best places in Africa where you can view large herds of elephants up-close. You will have unlimited game drives to keenly explore the park and experience the beauty it has to offer.
Tsavo West National park is characterized by rugged, arid landscape as well as large rock outcrops. It’s more mountainous and wet compared to the Tsavo East. Some of the major attractions here include numerous birdlife and wildlife species, the mzima springs and the shetani lava flow.
Tsavo East National park is dominated by semi-arid grasslands and savannah. It’s also considered as one of the world's biodiversity strongholds, and its popularity is mostly due to the vast amounts of diverse wildlife that can be seen, including the famous big five consisting of; lion, black rhino, buffalo, cheetahs, leopards, gazelles, antelopes and different variety of bird species such as the black kite, crowned crane, sacred ibis among many others. The Park is generally flat, with dry plains across which the Galana River flows. Other features of the park include the Yatta Plateau which can be seen at a glance, Lugard Falls and the Mudanda Rock located inside the park and also where guests are allowed to park their Car and walk a few steps up to the top of the rock for amazing views across the Tsavo plains and wildlife on a waterhole beneath it.

DAY 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Pick up by Tripa Tours & Travel representative upon arrival at Nairobi Airport or at your hotel within Nairobi. A short briefing regarding your six-day safari before setting off your journey for Amboseli. Arrival for check in and lunch followed by time at leisure to relax by the camp before departing for your late afternoon game viewing drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Sentrim Amboseli Camp.

DAY 2: Full day in Amboseli National Park

Today have an option of doing a full day or an early morning and afternoon game drives. For a full day game drive, you will depart with lunch boxes after breakfast where you will spend most of the day in the park before returning to your lodge/camp late in the afternoon for dinner and overnight. Moring game drives are done early in the morning before sunrise and late in the afternoon before sunset which are the best time to spot wildlife as well as the big cats when they are most active. Dinner and overnight stay at Sentrim Amboseli Camp.

DAY 3: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

Early breakfast, check out and depart for Tsavo West National Park, roughly half way between Nairobi and the Kenya Coast. Arrival at the park with a game drive enroute to your lodge for check in and lunch. An evening game drive will be offered where you will have a chance to see large herds of elephants, buffalo, common waterbuck, eland, rhino, antelope among others and a vast variety of birds. The park is characterized by rugged, arid landscape as well as large rock outcrops which form part of the attraction as well as the Mzima springs and a vast cover of volcanic rocks referred as the shetani lava flow. Dinner and overnight at Ngulia Safari Lodge.

DAY 4: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National park

Breakfast followed by check out and depart for a short game drive on your way to exit the park for your drive to the neighboring Tsavo East National park. Arrival for a short game drive before driving to your lodge/camp for check in and lunch. Afternoon at leisure for an ample time to relax by the camp before night fall where you will have your dinner and overnight stay at Sentrim Tsavo Camp.

DAY 5: Tsavo East National park

One more day at Tsavo East! Today you can choose to explore the park with morning and afternoon game drives or even a full day game drive. It will be also your last safari day where you can relax enough and meditate your past few days experience and perhaps check out your list for what you might have missed. All meals and overnight stay at Sentrim Tsavo Camp.

DAY 6: Depart to Nairobi

After breakfast check out and enjoy an enroute game drive viewing as you exit the park. Drive back to Nairobi with drop off at the airport for your onward journey back home or at your hotel marking the end of your safari with us.
